2/3 c shortening
2/3/ c margarine
1c sugar
1c brown sugar
2 eggs
2tsp van
3c flour
1 tsp soda
1tsp salt
1c nuts (optional)
12 oz chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
combine flour, baking soda and salt. set aside. In large mixing bowl, beat margarine, shortening, sugars, and vanilla until creamy. Beat in eggs, and gradually blend in four mixture. Stir in Chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 350 for 8-10 min.
