1 cup white sugar
2 cups butter
1 cup water
1 t. instant coffee(optional)
16 squares (1 oz. each) semisweet chocolatem, cut in pieces
8 eggs slightly beaten
1/2 cup chilled whipping cream
1 T powdered sugar

Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9X13 springform pan. Heat granulated sugar, butter, water coffee (dry) and chocolate in 3-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in eggs . pour into pan. Bake until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean; 45 to 50 minutes. Cool completely. Remove sides of pan. Cover cake with plastic wrap and refrigerate until chilled; at least four hours.
Remove plastic wrap. Beat cream and powdered sugar in chilled 1 1/2 qt bowl until stiff. Garnish top of cake with whipped cream.

This if fairly new to me. It is easy to make and wonderful...very rich. It has become one of my favorite chocolate desserts .
