2 cups elbow macaroni
3 T butter
2 T flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1 3/4 cups milk
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
8 oz Velveeta
Sliced tomatoes (if desired)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook elbow macaroni as directed on box. In saucepan melt butter and add onions until soft. Blend in flour, salt, and pepper. Then add milk. Cook and stir until think and bubbly. Add Velveeta cheese and stir until melted. Mix cheese sauce with macaroni. Turn into a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle top with sliced tomatoes if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until heated through.
