1 c. light brown sugar, packed
1 stick margarine
1 stick butter
15 graham cracker rectangles (or how ever many will fit in your rimmed baking sheet 12X18)
1 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Place graham crackers in 12X18 rimmed cookie sheet in one layer. Boil first three ingredients together exactly 3 minutes after boil is reached. Remove from heat and add the chopped nuts. Pour over graham crackers and bake at 350º 8-10 minutes. Cool in pan and cut with pizza cutter.

Aunt Alice (Daddy's oldest sister) made these for Daddy and brought them to the lake when I was also visiting. She said these were the best cookies for the least effort. I lost her recipe, but my friend and Thrift Shop cohort gave me the same one.
