2 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper (if you like to add heat)
Milk
salt and pepper to taste
Homemade or instant mashed potatoes
Directions:
Directions:
Fry beef and onion together in skillet until cooked. Drain all but 2 tbsp. of grease. Return to stove and add half of the flour and stir over medium heat until well blended. Slowly add remainder of flour. Slowly add milk 1/4 c. at a time until the gravy reaches desired consistency. Add cayenne, salt and pepper to taste.
Pour over mashed potatoes and enjoy!
