3 lbs. venison steaks (soak meat in salt water & vinegar overnight. Sauce: 1/2tsp. worcestershire sauce 3Tbs. vinegar 1/2tsp green pepper flakes 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper 1tbs. brown sugar 1/4tsp. black pepper 3/4c. catsup 1/4tsp. Tabasco (red) 1 small onion, chopped 1/2c. burgundy wine (real stuff, not cooking wine)

Rinse steaks after soaking and dry off. Sear steaks in a small amount of olive oil in skillet. Pour sauce over steaks and simmer for 30 minutes, turning steaks every 10 minutes until done. Serve with mashed potatoes (or rice) with green veggie. Burgundy wine serves well with this meal

This is one of our Uncle Donald's favorite venison recipes (not sure if he developed this recipe himself). He and his hunting camp buddies love it! Note from UD..This is really good, if you like your food a little spicy. Anyway, if it's too spicy, just cool it off with chilled Burgundy!!
