Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 packets dry yeast (Rapid Rise Fleischman's)
1/2 cup warm water
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup margarine or butter
5 cups unsifted flour
added ingredients for topping below

Directions:
Directions:
Measure flour and reserve 1 cup. Mix flour, yeast, sugar and salt together in a large bowl. Heat liquids and margarine to very warm (margarine melted). Stir liquids by hand into dry ingredients until well blended. Mix in eggs, then enough reserved flour for desired dough consistency (not too sticky). Knead dough on floured board about 5 minutes, until smooth. Let rest, covered for about 10 minutes. In large baking pan, melt 1 stick margarine, 1/2 cup brown sugar, plus dollop of white Karo syrup. Place lots of pecans (top side down) over mixture.
Divide dough in half. Roll first half into rectangle (9x15). Spread with softened butter then generously with cinnamon sugar. Roll up tightly, beginning with wide end. Pinch edges into roll and seal. Shape roll evenly and cut with serrated knife into 10 slices. Place in pan, four to a row. Repeat with other half of the dough. cover with damp linen towel; let rise in warm oven until double in size. Bake 25 minutes at 350º in the middle of the oven. Immediately turn upside down on foil-lined tray.

Thanks to June Dickinson (and Betty Crocker). These directions combine Betty Crocker's Traditional Sweet Dough and Butterscotch-Pecan Roll recipes with the Rapid Rise directions. Can be made in two smaller square pans.
