Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 doz little neck clams
1 cup water or beer of choice
garlic powder
1 stick butter

Directions:
Directions:
I use a glass deep dish pie dish for these. Put clams, water or beer in dish. Don't pile clams on top of each other. Cover with plastic wrap, not too tightly, you need to leave room for the clams to open. Put a couple of little slits in the plastic wrap to release some of the steam. Cook on hi until all the clams are open (every microwave is different, so just keep an eye on them). Remove dish from microwave. In small dish melt butter with garlic powder to your own taste in microwave. After you remove clams from the dish, pour melted garlic butter over clams and enjoy.

Personal Notes:
Do not remove plastic wrap with your hands. Use a pair of long tongs because of the steam. These are great if you just want to make a few clams. It's perfect for one or two people. Of course, you can always make more!!!!
