4 cups flour
3 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 1/2 cup of liquid(half milk half water)

filling
1 lb.bacon
1 lrg. onion
2 cloves garlic
1 bag sauerkraut

Directions:
Directions:
fry bacon,onions, and garlic, add sauerkraut, fry for 10 min. more, let cool
roll dough into log shape, cut off a piece and roll into circle, add 1 tbs. of filling, pinch together so it has moon shape.
boil in water for 3-4 min. or until dough is done.
these freeze very well, when ready to serve pour heavy whipping cream over top and bake in oven for 30 min. 350 º

this is a dish that we always have for xmas.you can also fill with goat cheese.our memories are when Dads family would come to visit we would all get together and make these all day long!
