Loaf of French bread, cut in cubes
6 eggs
1-1/2 c. 1% milk
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 t. vanilla
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. butter, melted
4 T. light corn syrup
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. chopped pecans (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Grease 9" x 13" pan. Put bread cubes in bottom. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over the bread, making sure all of the bread cubes are coated. Refrigerate overnight.

Just before cooking:
Melt butter, corn syrup and brown sugar in microwave and stir to combine. Pour over bread mixture. Top with pecans if desired.

Bake 35 minutes at 350º.
