2 cups blueberries drained
2 T. fresh lemon juice
3 T shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup milk
1 cup sugar
1 T. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Place blueberries in bottom of greased baking pan.
Cream shortening and gradually add 3/4 cup sugar, beating well at med. speed. Combine flour, baking powder and 1/4 tsp. salt in separate bowl and stir well. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Stir after each addition. Spread batter over berries. Combine 1 cup sugar, cornstarch, and 1/4 tsp. salt....stir well and sprinkle over batter. Pour boiling water over cobbler (do not stir). Bake at 375º for 40-50 minutes.
