1 1/4 cups Flour
1 stick (4 oz) salted Butter, at room temperature
1/2 tsp Lemon zest
1 large Egg yolk
1/3 cup & 2 tbsp Sugar (divided)
1 tbsp Milk
1/2 cup sliced Almonds, chopped finely
1/4 tsp ground Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 375 degrees. Grease 9 x 9 baking pan. Mix flour, butter, lemon yest, egg yolk and 1/3 cup sugar until a ball forms (can use food processor pulsing 5 times) and press into pan. Brush dough with milk. In a bowl, mix together almonds, cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of sugar and sprinkle evenly over dough, press into dough. Bake 20 minutes or until lightly browned. While still warm, cut into squares and let cool.
