1 9-inch pie shell, unbaked such as Mrs. Smith's frozen deep dish pie crust
1 c. semisweet chocolate morsels
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
2 large eggs
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter, melted (1 stick)
1/2 c. all purpose flour
pinch salt
1 tsp. vanilla






Directions:
Directions:
Spread chopped nuts over bottom of the prepared (unbaked) pie shell; sprinkle with chocolate morsels. In s small mixing bowl, whisk eggs. Next whisk in sugar, flour, salt, vanilla and butter. Pour evenly over nuts and chocolate morsels. Bake @ 325º fir 35 ti 40 ninutes.

Add a T. of bourbon or 1 tsp. of rum flavoring to for a more "spirited" flavor.
