1 box Zataran's Dirty Rice Mix
3 Tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons Louisiana Hot Sauce
1 cup long-grain white rice
3 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup water
10 ounces andouille sausage or spicy chicken sausage, cut into 1/2-inch pieces, browned
1 pound lean ground beef, browned
1 1/2 cups yellow onion, chopped
1 1/4 cups celery, chopped
1 cup green bell pepper, chopped
1 cup red bell pepper, chopped
5 cloves garlic, minced
3 teaspoons thyme leaves
1/4-1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 Tablespoons Harry's Creole Stuff

1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sausage and cook, stirring, until it begins to brown, about 5 minutes. set aside.
2. Add ground beef, cook until it begins to brown, set aside.
3. Bring 3 cups broth, 1 cup water, seasoning package from dirty rice box and 3 tablespoons butter to a boil in a large saucepan. Reduce heat to medium.
4. Add onion, celery, green and red bell pepper and garlic to skillet and cook, stirring, until the onion is soft, about 5 minutes more
5. Add ground beef, sausage, sautéed vegetables 1 cup white rice, rice from box, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, black pepper and Creole seasoning to pot.
6. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until the liquid is absorbed and the rice is tender, about 30 minutes.
7. Remove from the heat and let stand, covered, for 10 minutes.
