3 1/4 c.flour
1 1/2 T. baking powder
1 t. salt
1 c. Buttermilk
1/4 c. hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil to 350 degrees. Sift dry ingredients. Add
liquid. Mix until dough pulls from sides of the bowl.
Add flour if too sticky. Knead dough a few times.
Shape a tennis ball size of dough into a flat pancake.
Deep fry until golden brown. Serve hot with jam.
