1 c. quick oatmeal
1 stick oleo
1 ¼ c boiling H2O

1 c. sugar
1 c. Br. Sugar
2 eggs beaten

1 ½ c flour
1 tsp soda
½ tsp salt
½ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp cinnamon

Frosting

1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. Brown sugar
2 T milk or cream
1 stick oleo

OR

6 tbsp oleo
2/3 c. Brown sugar
¼ c milk
1 c. moist coconut
½ tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cook oatmeal and oleo in water. Let stand for 10 minutes. Add sugars and eggs. Combine dry ingredients then mix well. Bake in greased 13x9 for 35 minutes at 350.

For frosting, mix ingredients and bring to a boil. Cook for 2 minutes, pour on cake and cool.
