1 cake yeast
1/2 C lukewarm water
3/4 C shortening
1/4 C sugar
1 Tbsp salt
1 C scalded milk
1 C mashed potatoes
3 beaten eggs
Enough flour to make stiff dough

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in water and add shortening, sugar, salt and potatoes to milk. When cool add eggs and stir in enough flout to make a stiff dough. Turn out on floured board and kneed well. Let rise, roll out quite thin, cut with biscuit cutter, place one on top of another with melted butter between and place in greased muffin tins and let rise again. Bake 15 minutes at 375º.
