1 ½ c. sugar
½ c. flour
1 tsp salt
2 quarts fr. Blueberries
3 tblsp. Lemon juice
3 tblsp. Butter

Topping:
2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking pwd.
2 tblsp. Sugar
1 tsp. salt
½ c. shortening
2/3 c. milk
1 egg, slightly beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour sugar & salt; mix with berries 13x9x2 (3qts) baking dish; dot with butter. Put in (400) oven 15 min. til hot & bubbly. Sift flour, baking pwd., sug&salt. Cut in shortening Add milk & egg. Stir til blended with fork. Drop on hot berries.return to oven (400) bake 20 min til top is brown. Make 12 biscuits.
