6 whole chicken legs
1/2 lemon
1 1/2 tsp. Basil
1 1/2 tsp. Thyme
3-4 cloves garlic
1 tsp. kosher salt
fresh ground pepper
16 oz. plain yogurt, 16 oz. sour cream
3/4 c. dry vermouth
1 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
1 14 oz. can sliced black olives. (medium)

Cut and separate chicken legs into thighs and drumsticks. Place chicken pieces into a 13x9 inch ovenproof glass container. Over the chicken, sprinkle lemon juice, thyme, basil, pepper, and salt in that order. Place chicken into a 350ºF oven for 1 hour or until chicken is nicely browned. Take out and drain liquid from pan. Mix together yogurt, sour cream, dry vermouth, and 1 cup of Parmesan cheese in a bowl. Spread mixture evenly over drained chicken to cover. Put back into oven for 1/2 hour more. Then remove and sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and sliced olives over chicken. Put back in oven at 375ºF for 15-20 more minutes to lightly brown. Remove from oven and let sit for 5 min. before serving.
