1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef (we use ground turkey)
2/3 c. long-grain rice, uncooked
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
1 t. seasoned salt
1/4 t. garlic powder
1/8 t. pepper
1 large can (15 oz.) tomato sauce (some versions use canned tomato soup)
1 c. water
2 t. worcestershire sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Mix meat with rice, 1/2 c. of water, chopped onion, seasoned salt, garlic powder, and pepper. Shape porcupline ground meat mixture by tablespoons into 1 1/2 in. balls.

Place porcupine meatballs in an ungreased 2-quart shallow baking dish. Mix the remaining ingredients, and pour over the meatballs. Cover and bake at 350º for about 45 minutes. Uncover and bake for 15 to 20 minutes longer.

Serves 4 to 6 (or double this recipe if you're feeding three boys that are growing fast!)
