3 1/2 c pecan halves
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt margarine in a baking pan. Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar and vanilla. Stir in pecans. Pour into melted butter. Bake at 250º for 40-50 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes with fork.
It is possible to add another 1/2 cup of pecans.
