8 oz. softened cream cheese
2 cans crab meat, drained and picked thru
1 cup mayo
12 oz. sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 medium onion, sautéed in butter

Fresh whole loaf of French bread

Directions:
Directions:
Cut around the top edge of bread loaf and pull out the soft insides, reserving the bread. Leave shell intact.
Mix cream cheese, crab meat, mayo and cooled onion in a medium bowl. Pour into shell. Cover with cheddar cheese. Tear the removed bread into chunks. Arrange on baking sheet around filled bread shell to toast for dipping. Bake @ 350º for 30 mins. Serve warm. Makes 1 filled loaf.
