Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Pork Chops to feed your family
2 T. canola oil
Onions, sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
Garlic granules to taste
1-2 cans of Cream of Mushroom soup
1/2 - 1 can of water
4 medium potatoes, peeled and chunked

Directions:
Directions:
Heat the oil in a fry pan. Add the onions and saute a little. Push the onions to the sides of your pan. Brown the sides of the pork chops. Salt and pepper and garlic both sides. Put the chops and onions in a glass cake pan. Put potatoes in the spaces between the chops. Cover it all with the soup and pour the water over the top. Cover with foil and bake at 350º for at least an hour or until the potatoes are tender and the chops are cooked through. For some reason, putting the potatoes in sometimes takes it longer to bake.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
We love these. You can make them with or without the potatoes with the meat, just cook those on the stove. Browning the chops seems like an extra step, but it helps to seal in the juices and therefore the flavors and makes the meat more tender. I've also cooked the chops (still smothered with the soup) on the stove in a large fry pan; it cooks faster, but you have to watch it carefully or the chops will burn on the bottom.
