Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 4-5oz frozen Lobster Tails (from Smiths on sale)
1 lemon
1TBS garlic
1/4 c. butter melted
2 loaded baked potatoes
2 New York Strip Steaks or what ever you like best
Sourdough Baguette thin sliced
Favorite steamed veggie

Directions:
Directions:
Pre heat oven to 400º
Rinse lobster tails in cold water then take kitchen scissors and cut down both sides of the under belly of the tail and across so that you can remove the membrane exposing the meat, cut in between the shell and meat so that it is easy to remove once cooked.

Melt butter add garlic and lemon juice from 1/2 lemon (I microwave it).

Place tails shell down in small 8 x 8 glass dish and baste with butter mixture (you can wrap in foil if you want) cook for about 15 - 20 minutes or until meat is opaque and shell is bright red. Do not over cook or tails will be rubbery. For very detailed info with pictures go to www.lobsterhelp.com/baking-lobster-tails.html.

Grill or broil your steaks the way you like them. I put heavy salt and pepper on both sides and grill on med heat about 7 minutes a side.

Serve with loaded baked potato, sliced bread and steamed veggies and lemon wedges.

I love making this for me and my husband at home it is so much less expensive and tastes so much better than restaurant food. I promise if you try this at home you will never go to a restaurant again for surf and turf, yours will be way better. It is super easy please try it next time for a special occasion!
