1 c. butter or marg.
1 c. water
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. sour cream
2 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda

Frosting
1/4 c. butter or marg.
3 tbsp. milk
2 to 2 ¼ c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. almond extract
walnuts for sprinkling

Directions:
Directions:
Cake: In large saucepan, bring butter and water to a boil. Remove from heat. Stir in flour, sugar, eggs, and rest of ingredients until smooth. Pour into greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-22 min. or until done. Cool for 20 minutes.

Frosting: Combine butter and milk in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Add sugar and extract and mix well. Spread over warm cake and sprinkle with ½ C. chopped walnuts.
