2/3 C. sugar
1 C. butter, softened
2 C. flour
½ tsp. almond extract
½ C. seedless raspberry jam

Glaze:
1 C. powdered sugar
1 ½ tsp almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine sugar, butter, almond extract and beat until creamy. Add flour and combine well. Shape dough into 1” balls. Place 2” apart on cookie sheet. Make indentation with thumb in the center of each. Fill indentation with ¼ tsp. jam. Bake 14 – 18 min. until lightly browned. Cool.

Glaze: Combine powdered sugar and almond extract. Add a little water to make a glaze. Drizzle over cookies. (This will make enough glaze for 2 batches of cookies.)
