1 c. butter/margarine
2 c. sugar
½ c. cocoa powder
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
1¼ c. flour (original recipe calls for 1½ cups but that seems too cake-like to me)
½ tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt

1. Melt butter and then mix all ingredients in order given.

2. Bake at 350ºF for 20-30 minutes in a 9x13 inch greased pan.
