1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
1 2/3 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Grated rind of 1 lemon
1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice

*Topping:
2 Tbsp. melted butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 cup chopped nuts
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. cinnamon

Directions:

Cream sugar and butter together. Beat eggs in 1 at a time. Blend sour cream and soda. Sift flour with baking powder, and add salt. Alternately add flour mix with sour cream mix to first mixture, beating after each addition. Add remaining ingredients, except topping, and stir. Pour into a greased 8 inch square pan.
TOPPING: Mix butter, flour, nuts, sugar, and cinnamon together. Sprinkle on top of cake and swirl it around with a fork. Bake at 350º about 40-50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
