1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 cups flour
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
1 can (1 lb. 4 oz.) crushed pineapple w/ juice
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs. Sift flour, measure, and sift with salt and soda. Blend into creamed mixture. Mix in pineapple and juice. Turn into a greased and floured 9 x 13” pan. Mix brown sugar and nuts. Sprinkle over top of cake batter. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Serve warm or cold with a dollop of cool whip.
