2 cup sugar
1 8oz. chocolate bar
1 1/2 cup almonds, toasted and chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in skillet. Stir in sugar gradually. Stirring constantly, go through these stages:
1st stage: looks separated
2nd stage: looks smooth
3 rd stage: looks like gravy needing water
4th stage: looks like 1st stage
5th stage: looks smooth and darkened

On a foil lined sheet, put 1/2 the almonds and 1/2 the chocolate, melted. Pour candy over this right after 5th stage. Put 1/2 half the chocolate on top, and cover with another cookie sheet. The heat will melt the chocolate (about 30 seconds). Spread with rest of almonds. Cool and break into pieces.
