3 c. mashed sweet potatoes
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/3 c. butter (melted)
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. flour
1/3 c. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the first ingredients. Pour into an oven safe baking dish. Mix the last ingredients and crumble the topping over the souffle. Bake in a 350º oven for 30 minutes or until it is bubbly and golden.
(If you use a deep dish-- like a casserole dish-- vs. a cake pan, you will need to increase the time)

Grandma Hunter first introduced the family to this on a long ago Thanksgiving (at least 14 years ago). Since then, it has become a family favorite and tradition. It's so good, it could be considered a dessert.
