1/4 lb. ground beef (approx)
1/8 to 1/4 lb. Jimmy Dean original sausage
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1/4 cup yellow or sweet onion, minced
2 cloves fresh garlic cloves, crushed and chopped
1 big can Hunt's tomatoes - already crushed or crush them your self with blender
1 small can tomato paste
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
black pepper
1 tsp. ground oregano
2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. crushed basil
1/4 cup brown sugar (adjust according to your taste)

Directions:
Directions:
Brown onion and garlic in olive oil in medium to large sauce pot. Add ground beef and sausage and cook until browned. Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste and all the spices. Stir and simmer, covered, over low heat for at least 10 minutes, up to a couple hours. Stirring occasionally. Serve with pasta.
