1 to 2 broccoli, chopped
1 to 2 cauliflower, chopped
1/3 c. onions, chopped
3 c. water
1/2 tsp. ground mace
2 OXO cubes
6 c. milk ( I use 1%)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 c. Swiss cheese, shredded
2 to 3 tbsp cornstarch/flour to thicken

Cook vegetables in OXO and water until tender; mash a little. Mix 1/2 cup milk with flour and add to vegetables. Add remaining milk, salt and pepper. Cook until thick and hot. Blend in cheese and stir until melted.
