2 lb hamburger ( raw)
2 cups cooked rice
1 can diced tomatoes
2 cans tomato soup
1 c water
2 T beef stock
1 medium diced onion
salt, pepper and beef bouillon
1 head green cabbage
sour kraut (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Bring large pot of water to boil, core cabbage and dip into boiling water to blanch. Remove each leaf with tongs and cool in bowl of water. Place in colander to drain. Mix the soup,diced tomatoes,water and beef stock together.Pour half of the liquid into the beef mixture. put two tablespoons fill in each leaf roll up and place seamside down in cassarole dish...pour remaining sauce on top..Bake 350...45 minutes.

Eve and I used to make these a lot. Ours were better than the ones at the Polish Festival in Bronson. We always put a layer of kraut on bottom of cassarole and put the rolls on top..
