2 c. flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1 c/ shortening
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. rolled oats
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins
1 c. applesauce

Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350º
Mix flour, baking soda, salt, spices
Cream shortening, add sugar, stir in well beaten eggs
Add oats, nuts, raisins, and applesauce, mix well
Drop onto greased cookie sheet
Bake for 8 minutes.
