2 c. pretzels (any kind, I use stix)
1 c. mixed nuts
2 boxes crackers (Wheat Thins, Cheese Air Crisps)

2 sticks margarine or butter
1/3 c. white syrup
1 c. sugar

1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. tabasco (optional)
1 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Put the first 3 ingredients in a greased sheet cake pan and mix.
Combine and boil the margarine or butter, white syrup and sugar for 5 minutes. Take off heat and add the last 3 ingredients. Stir and pour over mix in sheet pan.
Bake at 250º for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes.

It says to cool in pan. I put wax paper on the table and pour mix on it.
This recipe was made for a party at work by the Central Kitchen Food Service. It was a huge hit. Everyone asks for it everytime we have a meeting.
