Rocky Road Brownies Recipe

1 c. melted butter
2 c. sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
Mix above ingredients together and add:
4 eggs, one at a time
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt

Directions:
Pour batter into greased 9x12 pan and bake 25 min. in 350º oven. Remove from oven, put large marshmallows, cut in half, over top of brownies. Return to oven until melted, not browned though. Don't forget they are in there, really, don't walk away. Cool, then frost with icing:

1/2 stick melted butter
1/4 c. cocoa
1/4 c. cream (can just add milk)
3/4 lb. powdered sugar
1 T. sugar
dash of salt

Michelle used to make these, especially when Kirby was on his mission, she would mail them to him in Bolivia. When Brin was visiting the Tait's she was talking to her dad on the phone and was excited to tell him that we were going to eat "Rock N Roll Brownies."
