1 pkg. active dry yeast
1/4 c. warm water
1 c. creamed cottage cheese, heated to lukewarm
2 T. sugar
1 T. instant minced onion
2 tsp. dill weed
1 T. butter
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. soda
1 egg
2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Soften yeast in warm water. In a medium bowl, combine cottage cheese, sugar, onion, dill, butter, soda, salt, egg and yeast mixture. Gradually add flour to form a soft dough, beating well after each addition. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled, 50 to 60 minutes.

Stir dough down with wooden spoon. Place in well-greased 1 quart casserole dish. Let rise again in warm place until doubled, about 30 to 40 minutes. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 40 to 50 minutes. Brush with soft butter and sprinkle with salt.
