1 c. finely chopped onions
1 TSR. minced garlic
2 T Dijon mustard
1/4 c. light brown sugar
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. molasses
1 tsp. chili powder
1/4 c. low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 c. red wine
1 - 4-5 lb. trimmed beef brisket, trimmed of excess fat

Directions:

In rectangular glass baking dish, combine the onion, garlic, mustard, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, molasses, chili powder, soy sauce, and red wine. Add the brisket to the marinade. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Preheat oven 325 degrees F. Place the brisket and marinade in the oven in a heavy pot. Bake, covered, about 4 to 5 hours, or until the brisket is tender.
