6 green peppers
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 lb. ground veal or pork
1 can tomato soup
1/2 c. rice
1 small onion, chopped finely
1 small clove garlic, chopped finely
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 eggs, well beaten
3 Tbsp. flour
3 Tbsp. butter
3 c. water
1 Tbsp. steak sauce
1 tsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. sugar

Directions:

1. Cut a thin slice from stem ends of peppers; remove seeds. Mix and combine all ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Stuff peppers and place in large soup pot.

2. Brown 3 tablespoons flour and butter in saucepan. Add 3 cups water. Stir until gravy consistency. Add the following to the gravy: steak sauce, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Pour gravy over peppers and cook about 1 1/2 hours.
