sliced veal (1 piece per serving you wish to cook)
boiled ham
swiss cheese
salt and pepper
olive oil and lard
flour
eggs
bread crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Salt each veal slice. Over veal lay boiled ham slice large enough to cover veal. Over ham slice, lay swiss cheese, large enough to cover ham. Double the whole thing over and fasten with a wooden toothpicks. Next dip into flour, then dip into beaten eggs and next dip into bread crumbs. Now fry in smoking hot deep fat fryer, of half olive oil and half melted lard, for 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Drain and remove toothpicks. Serve with buttered peas or green beans.

Mom used to cook this when we lived in Germany and we all loved it. Some people have used cubed steak instead of veal.
