1 c. flour
1 T. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 T. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. ground allspice
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
1 egg, beaten
1 c. buttermilk
3 T. butter, melted
1 T. molasses
Orange Marmalade Syrup:
2/3 c. maple syrup
1/3 c. orange marmalade
Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 9 ingredients in a bowl. Make a well in center of mixture. Combine egg, buttermilk, melted butter and molasses; add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened. Do not overmix. Using a cookie scoop, pour 2 T. of batter onto a hot, lightly greased griddle. Repeat with remaining batter. Cook pancakes until tops are covered with bubbles and edges look cooked; turn and cook other side until done. Yields about 10 pancakes. Combine maple syrup and orange marmalade in a small saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Serve Orange Marmalade Syrup with pancakes.
