2 1/2 C. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 C. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. Baking powder
1/2 C. butter
2 eggs, well beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour once, measure, add baking powder & salt, then sift again. Cream butter thoroughly, add sugar gradually, and cream together until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Add vanilla. Add flour mixture and blend. Chill 10-15 minutes. Roll 1/8 inch thick on slightly floured board. Cut with large floured cutter and sprinkle with colored sugar. Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake at 400º for 10-12 minutes.
