2 Tblsp. olive oil
4 ( 1-inch-thick) bone in pork chops
ground pepper
4 strip's bacon coarsely chopped
1 medium onion cut into 1/2 inch slices
1 head ( 21/2 lbs.) green cabbage, cored and cut into 8 wedges
3 Tbsp.all purpose flour
3 cups whole milk

preheat oven 400º
set a large roasting pan on burner over high heat add oil
season pork chops with salt and pepper and brown on both sides. transfer to plate.
reduce heat to medium. add bacon,cook till golden,add onions; and cook untill softened;
add cabbage, cut side down, and cook untill light golden, about 6 min. flip and cook till slightly tender; add flour and stir until coated. add milk and cook stirring constantly, untill thickened, about 4 min. season with salt and pepper, then nestle pork chops in sauce . transfer pan to even. bake until pork is cooked through, about 10 minutes.

it's important to leave the temp. at 400. I turned it down and the sauce got a little runny.
