1/2 lb. Acini Di Pepe (tiny bead) pasta
1 egg
1/2 c. sugar
1 T. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1(15 1/4 oz.) can pineapple chunks
Reserved pineapple juice
1 (16 oz.) can mandarin oranges
Cool whip

Directions:
Directions:
Cook pasta, drain and set aside. In heavy saucepan beat egg with wire whisk until foamy. Pour in sugar, flour, salt and reserved pineapple juice. Over low heat, cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Combine mixture with pasta and chill for 1 hour. Stir in fruit and cool whip, chill and serve.
