1 C Sugar
3 T flour
3 T butter

juice from 1 lemon
2 egg yoke

1 C milk
2 egg whites beat to peaks

Directions:
Directions:
mix sugar, flour and butter well. mix the lemon juice and egg yoke together and add to flour. add the milk and stir. Fold in the egg whites.
Pour into a 8X8 pan, put this pan in a water bath (larger pan with water 1/2 way up the side) Bake in a 350º oven till knife comes out clean, 30 or so minutes. Serve HOT!

The story on this is Grandma Sally learned this in cooking class in highschool. She use to make it for us. We never knew what to call it, it's kind of like cake, with a pudding on the bottom. YUMMY!
