3 large eggs
1/2 C sugar
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. nutmeg
1 t. vanilla
2 3/4 C whole milk

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs, stir in the rest of the ingredients. Pour into a pastry lined pie pan.
Bake about 40 minutes in a hot 450º oven for the first 15 minutes, then turn down to 350º to finish.
(silver knife inserted into side of filling comes out clean, center is soft, but will set as pie cools)

This was my favorite. When Grandma Lois would ask what I wanted for dessert, I always asked for this pie. I helped make lots of pies with Grandma!
