6 cups sliced cabbage
1 T. butter
1 tsp. caraway seeds
salt

Directions:
Directions:
Bring 1/4" of water to a boil in a large frying pan with a lid. Add cabbage, put on the lid, and let simmer for 15 - 20 minutes. Watch to make sure the cabbage doesn't burn. Add more water if necessary. When the water is evaporated, add the butter and caraway seeds. Fry gently long enough for the caraway seeds to get warmed so their taste is brought out. Do not let the cabbage get browned. Add salt to taste.

OK, this is soooo good. If you like caraway seeds - if not just omit them and add freshly ground black pepper instead.
