1/2 lb ground beef
1 1-lb can (2cups) stewed tomatoes
1 8 oz or 15 oz can tomato sauce
2 cups water
1 10 oz pkg frozen mixed vegetables
1 T dry onion soup mix
1 teas sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In Dutch oven or large heavy saucepan, lightly brown ground beef; drain off fat. Stir in remaining ingredients; bring to boiling. Reduce heat, cover,and simmer 20 minutes. Makes 6-8 servings. Can easily be doubled.

This is a very easy and tasty soup; serve with a crisp tossed salad and crusty and/or corn bread.
