6 large apples, peeled and sliced (or enough to fill the pan)
1/2 to 3/4 cup sugar
4 tablespoons butter
Cinnamon

Topping:
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup flour

Vanilla ice cream

Directions:
Directions:
Pare, peel and slice apples into 8 x 8 square pan.
Sprinkle with sugar and dot with butter pats. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon.

Topping: Mix the butter, brown sugar and flour. Crumble mixture over the apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Serve with ice cream.
